PARTNERS
The KLOSCAD also contributes to global research initiatives, such as the Cohort Studies of Memory in an International Consortium (COSMIC) and the Global Alzheimer’s Association Interactive Network (GAAIN). These collaborations enhance our understanding of cultural and biological diversity in cognitive health.
Cohort Studies of Memory in an International Consortium (COSMIC)

An international consortium to combine data from population-based longitudinal cohorts studies to identify common risk factors for dementia and cognitive decline.
The Integrative Analysis of Longitudinal Studies of Aging and Dementia (IALSA)

An international research network to facilitate interdisciplinary, cross-national research on determinants and dynamics of within-person aging-related changes in cognitive and physical capabilities, health, personality, and well-being.
The International Neuropsychological Normative Database Initiative (INNDI)

An international initiative to develop regression-based norms that enable their user to adjust cognitive test scores for a test taker’s age, sex, education, country of origin, and language. INNDI databases and normative tables will enable users to benchmark a person’s test performance against that shown by healthy persons of similar age, sex, educational, cultural, and linguistic background.
The Global Alzheimer’s Association Interactive Network (GAAIN)

An international consortium to unite a diverse and geographically distributed network of data partners within a federated data platform designed to foster cohort discovery, collaboration and sharing.
The UNITED Consortium

An international consortium dedicated to improving the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of neurodegenerative diseases worldwide by using cutting-edge imaging methods (MRI + CT) that measure brain structure and function at the highest resolution.
Thyroid Studies Collaboration (TSC)

A collaborative project that seeks to pool data from existing longitudinal studies with information on the thyroid status. In 2007, the collaboration was formed to clarify the risk of subclinicial thyroid dysfunction.
